How to use the Time-Shift feature.
Note.
On the Elite Model, ensure the USB Drive inserted has enough memory for Time Shift.
Setting up.
Whilst in the TV mode, press MENU, and the select Timeshift.
Use the Up or Down Cursor buttons to select either Cancel or HDD or USB-(depends on if the port is active).
Press OK to action your recording drive choice, and a confirmation message will be sent to the screen.
To activate it.
Whilst in the TV mode and viewing a channel, press the Play/Pause button >|| the screen will freeze, and a recording banner line with a playback marker | will appear at the bottom of the screen.
The Time-box at the Left hand side indicates the time when the time-shift was set.
The Time-box at the Right hand side indicates the present time.
Press the Play/Pause button again and screen will resume from the time the original Play/Pause button was pressed.
Whilst in the time-shift mode, the FWD scan >> or REV scan << buttons will move the marker | to the point where playback will commence.
Also the Start of Recording |<< or End of Recording >>| buttons will move the Playback marker | to the start or end of the Time Shift recording.
To end the Time-Shift session, press the STOP button and the Time-Shift recording will be erased.
