Improving SNR

Hello just wondering do you guys have any tips on how to improve the SNR? Ive noticed that the highest i seem to be gettin is around 70 it can go as low as 50?

Guess first place to start would be at your dish/lnb and then work backward Gav.
Make sure your aligned properly. Use a Sat Meter.Only about a tenner. If all good here then have a look at your cable and connections.I changed mine recently from some cheapo air filled stuff to Webro solid core stuff and that was well worth doing. Also make sure end connections all round are good. If they have been on a while might be worth remaking. Is your 800 a rev M? If so then there's no need for an inline amp like some older rev L tuners. If all is good you should get close to 100% on the strongest chans like BBC 1 etc.
