Anyone recommend a specific HDD that suits the Duo?

Well I know how to fit it and I aint starting my own Forum...........


Just wondered if any particular make/model was more suited that others.

i.e I know from past that Hitachi drives are crap

My Duo seems to have mountings for 3.5 inch and not 2.5 inch

yes i remember now that the screw holes didnt match up on one side with the 2.5 :lol: they are the same connectors though for the sata cable

duo will take upto 2tb maybe 3, but 2 definately as thats what i had in it m8 any 3.5 pc hardrive will do m8 i used wd and samsung and raptor all ok if you putting 2.5 in that will be ok but its really built to take a bigger one, as youve only got a small one your words not mine :lol: :lol: :lol: that will do fine ;)

I got a hitachi 750gb hard drive i took out of the pc when i put in a SSD I wonder if it can take a SSD nearly the price of a VU box got one in PC sweet 8-)
