NEWBE no valid operating system if i only had a brain

DOES anyone know where i can get a new version of the operating system for DM800 HD PRO SIM VER 2.01 CLONE
i now get this message when i log in to web browser

This is the DM800 bootloader Web Interface.

If you see this, your box didn't boot to Linux.
Unless you interrupted the boot process, this usually means that you have no valid operating system in flash.
Don't panic! It's not a problem. You can just flash a new version and everything will be fine!
Otherwise, you can boot from network or USB.
If you're about to give up, you might get help at the Dream Multimedia Support board!
Currently there aren't many other features...

You can download your current flash contents (64 MB) here, but please don't expect to be able to flash it back. It's merely a debugging feature.
This device's Serial Number is 34741, and was built on 2008/10/21.

Hi m8,.. did you have any joy with the patched dreamup earlier??

here goes,.. If you are getting this info on the computer you should beable to flash a new image with a bootloader already included or flash the bootloader on its own... It is unusualto be able to get this if getting the "NO CA Found" error as per other thread... There is a chance that what you are seeing is cached in your browser from a previous flash...

First of all download and unrar the image below,.. You can use any sim 2.01 image however this is a personal favourite of mine and has a cracking epg... (Which i seen was whatyou where tying to add to gemini when things went wrong)... Personally I stay away from gemini image after the clone time bomb sage... but that another story..

1st of all try flashing through theweb interface to see if that works as it is a bit easier than messing about with null moden cable etc..

- On the page you are seeing go to the bottom and select firmware upgrade

- on the next page select the browse tab and navigate to the DMM-DE-800-V2-0-ramiMAHER folder you unrarred and select the NFI file inside for flash

- Now you will be back on the firmware upgrade page... hit the flash button ...(Ideally use firefox for flashing,.. Internet exploder sometimes gives me errors and chrome does not work at all).. give it a few mins to get to 100% and then click the reboot button

- If all went well your box should now reboot and will be running the the latest dreamelite 2.01 Bl82 image (Bootloader is not important,..as it is included in the image.. you do not need to flash the same bootloader... as long as the sim is the same you willl be fine (2.01)

(hopefully you have a backup of you cccam config to upload ;) )


If this method failed you will have to use the patch dreamup we talked about in the other thread...

Let us know if it works and I will show you how to set up a cracking epg and sky UK bouquet... If it fails let me know also and I will give you detailed instructions on how to fix it with patched dreamup ;)

Thanks for that i will try that now i dont think i have a backup of my cccam config will this create a problem for me i done a backup with dcc will it be in there.

hi m8 if nothing else works this will you will need a null modem cable or as i use null modem -usb and be connected with ethernet un plug box run dream up and reconnect it dream up will recognise it then wait till it says flash and install image and reboot

To install CCcam

- From main screen (watching tv) green button - yellow button - addons download manager - Dream elite E2 image cams - choose your prefaired cam then download/install

- Upload your cccam.cfg to /etc

go back to main screen and then its - blue button - and select your default cccam

To enable EPG

From main screen - blue button - red button - rytec-SKYUK - OK - Settings - set your settings - Save - yellow button to download now (in settings set it to download automaticallyeach day to save the manual download)


Lastly once you get that done install a bouquet. You can find a good sky uk one HERE (http://cccam-exchange.com/viewtopic.php?f=0&t=8426). It is pretty much identicle to the sky uk HD planner ;)
