a sly query
my dad has got shy, not the top package but it has what i want. nat geo discovery shy 1, anyway i just gave it a thought ? could i get a cline of him, or what info would he need to pass onto me to see if i can piggyback of him & let someone piggyback from me. hopefully it's possible the only problem i can see is he lives 300m north in sunderland other than that please let me no if it's possible, cos this is beyond me. again i have been on the pc since 6pm it's now 5.15am 3 days in a row & i'm no further forward.. i'm ready to throw the towel in & smash it into a million pieces, if i can't get a c line working by the weekend...anyone please

No m8 you can't share from a Sky box.
Your dad would have to have a Linux box to allow sharing.

Jack,
reading thru all your posts, I can see your having a few issues.
i know your spending a lot of time and struggling but I would advise you take a break.
We all had to start somewhere, and most of us have been in a similar position at one time or another.
Take your time and work on one thing at a time. Concentrate on getting the basics,correct and everything else will fall into place.
Spending hour after hour will only confuse you and drive you mad.
All the guides and help you need is on site , but be carefull of information overload.
What might take you a week to understand and do now, will take you 10 mins in no time.
It can seem daunting at the start but is worth the time and effort in the end.

cheers i feel like i need to spend some time on my xbox or my flight sim my rc heli skills will be a bit rusty especially the 3D smack downs

I got 2 rc heli's. A hk500gt and a 450gt pro. Never flown them lol, built them from bits tho
