    Remote access for Ubuntu Server

    Hi All,

    Can anyone direct me on how to access my server remotely?

    I am using CCCam2.1.3 on Ubuntu 10.04

    I believe you have to open port 80 in your router then forward it to your server ip . Do remember to have a very difficult password setup in your server .

    it all depends what to do port 80 will forward to apache on ubuntu if you want remote from a windows pc desk top see http://www.liberiangeek.net/2010/07/...dows-machines/
    i use putty for telnet
    http://www.cs.uu.nl/technical/servic...y/puttyfw.html
    and flash fxp for ftp but you will neeed to port forward to the correct ports
    if you just want to get access to cccam web info the forward to 16001 ie your ip 98.23.233.21:16001
    but as pointed out by guli set yorur password (do not use default ie (admin etc)
